A favorite Maple Ridge tradition: Our Halloween Parade! We will start promptly at 9:30. Students will parade around the outside of the building. Parents, please keep the sidewalks clear so that students can walk around the school. Dress warm!
**Afternoon kindergarten students will parade around the kindergarten playground that afternoon around 3:15.

Join the choir! Permission slips are due before the first practice on Tuesday, Nov. 4th.

Red Ribbon Week is next week at Maple Ridge and our PTA has planned a great week! Join us in dressing up for each day's theme.

Maple Mountain Wrestling Mini-Camp. See flyer for more details.

Today was "Pumpkin Day" at Maple Ridge! A big thank you to Harward Farms, and especially our very own Maddex and Kaison Wilson, for donating a pumpkin to each of our students! It's always a fun and exciting time when the pumpkins get delivered and we are so grateful to Harward Farms for making our October so festive.

Congratulations to our Students of the Month for September! They were recognized for being honest. We are so proud of all of them! (Not pictured: Hudson Thorpe, Faye Boyce, Emily Rosell, Coco Lamb, Riley Thompson, Lucy Greene)
Mrs. Steen's class is having a blast creating podcasts about their poetry. They took their favorite poem they wrote and discussed it with each other. Look at the smiles!

Picture retake day is Monday, Oct. 13th. If your student wasn't at school for our original picture day, they will have their picture taken on Monday.

Dudes and Donuts this Thursday and Friday at Maple Ridge! Come with your favorite DUDE (dad, grandpa, uncle, neighbor, etc. etc) to get a donut and visit our book fair. This is one of the most favorite activities of the year. Don't miss it!

Parent Teacher Conferences are this Thursday (some teachers also have some conferences taking place on Wednesday after school as well). We are looking forward to meeting with you!

Red Butte Gardens recently visited our first grade and shared an amazing hands on lesson about how seeds move. Students were able to make predictions and test different methods of travel like wind and seeds sticking to animal fur. We can’t wait for them to come back in the Spring!
